Thread: A Loser System Wanted

  1. #1
I am looking for a system which looses over 90% of this time. You may think I am out of my mind. My intention is to produce counter-direction trades based on that egy and construct a winner although I might be.

Such system should loose 90% of the time when you exchange a fixed lot size (no MM envolved). Additionally, it has to be a very system. I mean it must use rules that are strong .

When I manage to turn everything around, I will write and EA based on the system and then post it intocavemantradingso everybody can enjoy it.

Therefore, if the equitybooked fund is enough, you can't goes bankcrupt. no EA. No thing but money management accompanied with playfull soul, no indior.

I considered the idea of reversing my perspective, and have been a really efficient loser in the past. I found it quite usefull. What I did to lose was utilize some false criteria to try and predict the direction of the market. The standards was generally erroneous. I reversed the standards. Component of my effective losing method was that I left winning trades first, and held on to losing transactions in the hope that they would reverse. I had nearly 100% large declines. The answer, or at least AN reply to your quest: Take a great pair such as GBP/USD, which ranges all the time. Determine the length of a fad, say 175 pips. After it's gone 175 pips in 1 direction, enter a transaction far away that a small proportion of occasions will the trend carry into the stop. Stay in the trade before it travels the standard distance from its alteration point (not your entry point). Rationale: I feel that there is a standard distance of traveling in 1 cycle. If one enters only after a long or perhaps quite long move in 1 direction of travel, then waits to depart until one has captured a large but small profit, say 125 pips, then the win rate should be excellent. The stop should be approximately 50 to 100 pips, and also the T/P about 125 to 175 pips. An individual can apply other filters to reduce losses, by 1) delaying entries until the travel is longer and, 2) employing criteria to trigger early exits if the trend is waning. You can also employ tests to delay exits if the trend is strong or a target far away. The results will be greatly enhanced if you monitor the movements on two time frames. Then exchange in that direction if you discover a general trend in 1 direction. When that overall trend has travelled a lengthy way and return to a major barrierundo the directional filter. You can also assess the period of a range jump period to figure out the size and period duration of the consequent trend, based on previous behaviour. Then exchange in the opposite direction of the trend, assuming that the trend is invested, beginning from the far side of the consolidation range, to optimize reward and decrease loss. If there's a consolidation pattern, enter the perimeter only, and put the stop only 25 pips outside the range. There transactions will have rewards and little relative risks. Once the fundamental algorithm is set up, one can examine different variables to optimise performance.

I have mush to learn about this (money management) so if there are any good sites, threads or tips, please discuss them with me. . It would be much appreciated!! Thank you

What do MA consumers do in choppy markets, if they're any good, they have stopped out a lot and suffer the draw down until they go to a trendy period. They trade a number of markets so that portfolio drawdown isn't as severe as any 1 instrument's. Your time could be more profitably spent, choosing a system that has a winning percentage that is acceptable to your plogy and playing it's cash management/risk management, in my humble view.
I could not agree more. Thank you for sharing your comment that is great with us.

Hi Dial, I don't believe he can change the title. To reflect the correct spelling. To all a note: My spouse until this past year was an English instructor and I habitually misspelled loser. So I certainly learned about it. With my wife along with a small freeware program called tiny spell (google it) I am now proud to acknowledge I am a recovering bad speller... My t20 cents, Scott

Hi, I think you aren't considering one variable: quite often is not the system the looser, but our mind. I think that you can reverse but you will be still losing with exactly the exact same system reversed. When we loosewe fear and close the commerce in loss, or worstwe dont want to loose and keep it loosing When we win, we all fear again and close the trade also soon This is the actual issue I guess, if you think that reversing a loosing system will wind up a winner one
